MP makes a return visit to Dragon LNG based at Waterston, Milford Haven
Carmarthen West and South Pembs MP Simon Hart, made a return visit to the Dragon terminal on Wednesday 24th August 2016.
Mr Hart received an update on developments since his last visit with the Welsh Affairs Select Committee in 2013.
As the Pembrokeshire weather was kind, Mr Hart was able to view Dragon’s largest construction project since commercial operations began, the re-liquefaction plant, from the top of one of Dragon’s two storage tanks, as well as enjoying views of the stunning and busy Haven waterway.
Becky Lumlock, Managing Director said “It was great that Simon, during his busy Summer schedule, was able to spend time with us. It gave us the opportunity not only to share our re-liquefaction plant with him, but also a reminder of Dragon’s capability of being able to supply up to 10% of the UK’s energy needs and our number one priority ‘Safety – Doing the right job, the right way, every time’.”
Simon commented after his visit, “I am very grateful to Dragon for updating me on their work and all that they are doing, including the contribution that they are making to the local economy and the community.”
