Dragon helps Young Golfers look the part with new Polo Tops

Dragon LNG was delighted to present the junior section at Milford Haven Golf Club with new polo shirts recently. With around 60 youngsters aged between 6 and 18 playing golf at the club, Karen Wood, PR Manager for Dragon LNG, said “The club has a fantastic community spirit with a growing junior section thanks to the dedicated, voluntary support of the club Members and Professionals.  We are delighted to be able to support the club through our corporate social responsibility theme of Youth Development and Training in Pembrokeshire”.

 “The help from Dragon LNG is gratefully received”, commented Simon Nicholas.  “We are pleased they have been able to support us this year.  It is important for the youngsters to feel a part of the club, as they are our future players, and the boys and girls have really looked like a smart team as we have travelled around South Wales this summer”.

Milford Haven Golf Club recently celebrated its centenary and has for many years been a strong supporter of Junior Golf, having the largest junior section in the County with 40 + golfers regularly taking part in various age and ability competitions most Saturdays.  The club runs free of charge starter schemes for children of all ages, and information about these schemes can be obtained from Simonnicholas@live.co.uk.
