Neyland Community School receive 3 new iPads thanks to Dragon LNG

Neyland Community School were recently presented with 3 new iPads thanks to Dragon LNG. The year 5 Digital Champions from the school contacted Dragon LNG requesting help to enable them to produce more films and animations in their ICT classes. IPads are an important part of learning and development in all schools now as it enables the children to have a good grasp on new technology as well as learning about E Safety. Neyland Community School have just been awarded the Naace ICT Quality Mark in recognition of their commitment to ICT for the third year in a row.

Lynette Fenwick, PR and Facilities Coordinator at Dragon LNG in Waterston, said ‘We are pleased to be able to provide Neyland School with the iPads. It means that all the pupils in the school can have the experience of using one and developing skills and confidence with modern day technology. This is particularly important for the children who do not have access to iPads or tablets at home.’

Yvonne Jones, Deputy Head Teacher at the school commented ‘‘We were delighted to be sponsored by Dragon LNG. The three new iPads will make a tremendous difference to the ICT provision in the school.  It is good for the pupils to see that local business are supporting their work and hope that other business’s will follow Dragon’s Lead’
