LLANGWM AFC has recently formed a new junior under 10’s team and is hoping to add other age groups in the near future.

Having only started training and playing in September, the team is already experiencing a successful season. They are grateful to have received sponsorship from a number of local companies, including Dragon LNG, Moby Dicks fish and chip shop, Podium Motorcycle Training, The Cottage in Llangwm and Sport Wales. They are also grateful to Cleddau Reach VC School who, with the support of the headteacher Mr N Groves and the governing body, have very kindly allowed the team to use the schools pitch and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) for training and games. This has been a huge success and all teams that have visited have been very complimentary about the facilities.

Marco Siso, team manager, said: “Without the support and generosity of these businesses and the school then forming the team, starting the junior division of Llangwm AFC would have not been possible.”

Lynette Round, PR and Facilities Coordinator for Dragon LNG, recently visited the team and said: “Dragon LNG is pleased to donate portable goals and footballs for Llangwm under 10’s. Over the years we have been able to support a number of local junior sports teams with donations of equipment and kit.  We would like to wish the club every success with developing its youth teams further.”
