Torch Theatre

Dragon LNG has been a keen supporter of Milford Haven’s Torch Theatre which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007 with an ambitious refurbishment project.

The Torch is a celebrated producing theatre company and the striking new theatre was re-launched in the spring of 2008.

Dragon LNG sponsored a row of seats and a special opening night to celebrate the transformation of this modern and vibrant local centre for the arts. This makeover incorporated a new Torch Studio Theatre that provides a valuable community facility and is also used as a meeting place. The new facilities include the Café Torch, a bright new bar and terrace, plus an art gallery/ conference room. Dragon has also been involved in providing on-going support for the youngsters who are involved with the theatre, providing prizes for an art competition and support for the annual pantomime. More recently, Dragon LNG donated funds towards a new digital sound desk, allowing the Torch Theatre to remain at the cutting edge of theatrical and recording technology.
