Our multi–million pound terminal at Waterston, Pembrokeshire receives, stores and regasifies Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG); supplying the UK with a vital source of clean and reliable energy.
OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: We are currently looking for a number of people to join our existing highly skilled team for our liquefied natural gas terminal and the associated combined heat and power unit. You will be from a petrochemical, oil and gas, power generation or liquefied natural gas background with a good understanding of the Health, Safety and Environment legislative requirements associated with a top tier COMAH site.
• Plant Operators: (permanent roles)
You will have process operations experience, together with a minimum of 5 GCSEs passes or the equivalent. These roles are part of our shift system, responsible for operation of our terminal and the associated combined heat and power plant.
• Maintenance Technicians: (permanent roles)
To carry out planned, corrective and breakdown maintenance for the terminal and the associated combined heat and power plant. You will be qualified to a minimum of ONC level or equivalent and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
Electrical – Must be experienced in testing and calibration of HV and LV systems associated with electrical equipment in hazardous areas. COMPEX experience desirable.
Instrumentation – Must be experienced in Process Control, ESD and Fire & Gas systems associated with instrumentation equipment in hazardous areas. COMPEX experience desirable.
Mechanical – Must be experienced in rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, steam turbines and boiler equipment.
• Process Engineer: (Permanent part time, up to 3 days a week)
A chartered engineer with a degree in a relevant discipline, you will be responsible for plant heat and material balance; process optimisation trouble shooting, root cause analysis for production loss events, managing the minor modifications to improve safety and reliability of the facilities, management of change process and ensuring the facilities are being operated within the operating envelope.
*Buyer: (temporary contract for 18 months).
Applicants should have procurement experience with a technical (ideally petrochemical, power or oil and gas) background. As a key part of our contracts and procurement team, you will be responsible for procurement activities to include; researching procurement options, obtaining competitive quotes, raising purchase orders and ensuring goods are delivered on time.
*IT Technician (permanent role)
Supporting the IT Network Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of technical IT support including: hardware installation, maintenance and monitoring, end user support and providing out of hours IT support on a rotational basis.
*Administration Assistant (permanent role)
You will be a skilled administrator, preferably with experience in both HR and PR functions, and a minimum equivalent of an ONC in business studies or clear evidence of relevant experience in a similar role. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
*Administration Assistant: (temporary contract for 18 months)
Providing administration support to our busy team including HSE, Security and commercial functions; you will have the equivalent of an ONC in business studies or clear evidence of relevant experience in a similar role together with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
