With respect to construction activities,
impacts would be restricted to the potential for discharge of
contaminated groundwater. As part of the discharge of a planning
condition for the currently approved scheme it has been demonstrated
that the soil and groundwater in the vicinity of the LNG storage
tanks is not contaminated; this is where the main construction
activities will take place.
