Our Environment

We are dedicated to protecting the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline and inlands, protecting our natural environment, caring for our community and wildlife, and supporting the countries energy demands.

Our HSSE policy statement sets out this commitment to the environment, with a robust Environmental Management System, that is aligned with the requirements of ISO 14001 standard.

Dragon operates under the strictest engineering and technical controls for unloading, storage, re-gasifying LNG and re-liquification and other associated activities, in accordance with our EPR Environmental Permit and UK ETS Permit issued by Natural Resources Wales.

Dragon is investing in renewable projects, including a 9.9 MW Solar Farm and up to three 4.8MW wind turbines for generating green energy. We are progressing other feasible opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint.

Numerous projects to enhance the surrounding environment have been undertaken, including a wildflower meadow, developing a reptile friendly zone and encouraging grazing birds into the area.
